Guilford Medical & Dental Managers Association -

During the summer of 1980, a handful of office managers got together to plan a fall seminar. This group met weekly at a local hospital to develop a program geared specifically to the interests of medical and dental managers.

Since that first seminar, Guilford Medical & Dental Managers was born, and has grown from 20 Charter members to 120 members today. The purpose of the organization continues to focus on providing an educational and supportive forum for medical and dental managers.

The Guilford Medical and Dental Managers

is dedicated to the professional education of its members by providing opportunities for

community service.

Provide educational development through monthly luncheon meetings, a monthly newsletter, seminars, and staff workshops.

Provide networking opportunities that enable marketing and practice development through enhanced communication.

Maintain personal and motivational support by providing an environment that promotes open communication among members.

Enhance and support the medical/dental community through educational grants and scholarships for residents in Guilford county and surrounding areas who have completed the first year of study in selected programs.

Funds projects that benefit Guilford County residents with special needs.

Assist new members to become familiar with the Guilford County medical and dental community.

Promote awareness of the organization’s missions, goals, and accomplishments throughout the Triad area.
